About

A writer, a cook, a traveller.

After growing up in the family catering business, I left home for university and earned a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. After returning to Winnipeg and the family business, Desserts Plus, it didn’t take long for me to start testing and trying new recipes. I decided to combine my interest in creating recipes with my love of writing and wrote Soup – A Kosher Collection – my first kosher cookbook. Just in time for Passover 2010, my second cookbook Passover – A Kosher Collection was published.

I continue to test new recipes and am hoping to start work on my next cookbook in the new year.

    Hey Pamela,
Bureka Boy told me about you and I’m glad he did – you look like you have some interesting (and tasty) things going on…

And thank you for linking to me!

    Cheers,

We eat Quinoa in our household about 8 mohtns out of the year starting with Passover and continuing for about 8 mohtns before we move on or forget about it until the next time around! But we’re going to definitely have to try the salad. The picture makes it look so good!
